Georgia is one of the main trading partners of Azerbaijan, and in the eight months of the current year, the trade turnover between the two countries increased by 41 percent compared to the same period last year. This was stated by Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikael Jabbarov.
According to him, at a meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, issues of expanding trade and economic cooperation, new projects, as well as the participation of Georgian companies in the restoration of territories liberated from the Armenian occupation, were discussed.
