The court in the Poltava region sentenced to 11 years and 6 months the conclusion of two Russian military, Alexander Bobykin and Alexander Ivanov, who fired at the civilian regions of the Kharkiv region. As Ukrainian Pravda reports, the sentence was issued by the Kothelevsky District Court of Poltava.
The military found guilty of violating the laws and customs of war. The prosecutor’s office asked them to be sentenced to 12 years in prison – the most difficult possible punishment.
Both Russians served in the Murmansk region. Bobykin was a driver of the Grad Solder Fire system, Ivanov – the gunner of the same combat vehicle.
Bobykin and Ivanov in court found and repented their guilt.
