In total, 650 thousand people were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster, including 11,488 arrivals from abroad, 35,250 participants in search and rescue works and 142 thousand security forces.

20 thousand units of equipment and heavy machines, 141 helicopters, 182 aircraft and 23 ships participated in rescue operations. Turkish Navy ships were involved in delivering assistance.

Air transport was used to evacuate the victims, transportation of personnel and goods, extinguishing fires, performing a total of 17,500 sorties.

With the support of Turkish Airlines (Thy), 13,701 flights were performed, more than 2 million passengers were transported, and 32,770 tons of humanitarian goods were delivered 712 flights.

In 11 injured provinces, zones for tent and container towns were determined. In total, 1 million tents were sent, 350 tent towns were installed 645 thousand tents, providing housing 2.5 million people.
