A fire in a Tovuz house, where two women burned 2 days ago, was arson. According to Haqqin.az, the chief inspector of the Ganjin Regional Group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Eshgin Gasimov, as a result of operational-search measures conducted by the police and the prosecutor’s office, there were suspicions that the fire occurred not at all by chance.
As it became known to law enforcement agencies, 19-year-old E. Bagirov and his 17-year-old acquaintance named Guliyev, who penetrated the house for theft, killed both women with a knife and took 65 manat, gold earrings, as well as a mobile phone from the house . Then the attackers burned the house.
They were detained by police officers and transferred to the investigation. A criminal case has been instituted against them. The investigation continues.
The police also added that the owner of the house – W. Guliev lived alone. One of her children is currently in prison, and the other died many years ago. The other deceased was her neighbor Hagigat Dzhabbarova.
