The leader of the Batkivshchyna party Yulia Tymoshenko predicted Ukraine to the loss of most of its territory. She stated this during a performance in the Verkhovna Rada, RIA Novosti reports.
According to her, from July 1, the law on the abolition of the moratorium on the sale of land comes into force, which will allow banks with foreign investment to own agricultural land and exploit them.
The deputy noted that the state will be actually excluded from any functions that control the use of the Earth will be prohibited from any environmental control. At the same time, she stressed that any vandalism will be allowed to the owners of agricultural land, they will even be able to remove the top layer of the chernozem. “From July 1, our land, 72 percent of the territory of Ukraine, will begin to leave,” the politician concluded.
