Kyiv will be able to use Croatian ports on the Danube and in the Adriatic Sea for grain export. Russia did not renew the grain transaction after July 17.
This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
July 31, Kuleba held negotiations with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Croatia Gordon Girlich Radman during his visit to Kyiv.
“We agreed on the possibility of using Croatian ports on the Danube and in the Adriatic Sea to transport Ukrainian grain. Now we will work to lay as effective routes to these ports and take this opportunity as much as possible,” the minister quotes the words of the minister website of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
Kuleba did not disclose the details of the agreements, noting only that “there are specific agreements that will soon be implemented”.
