The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal noted the beginning of the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. “It is necessary to state that the third wave of the epidemic in Ukraine has begun,” Shmygal told reporters.
He stressed that the vaccination process in the world will take at least two years, during which it will be necessary to maintain the mask regime. The Ukrainian prime minister noted that as soon as most of the regions enter the “red” zone of epidemiological danger, they will most likely have to return to the introduction of a lockdown.
The prime minister also admitted the possibility of the beginning of the fourth and fifth waves of the pandemic.
