Russia bought from Iran a 1700 drone-Kamikadze Shahed-136 and receives them with tranches. Iran is in no hurry to supply the Kremlin to the Kremlin, in an interview with The New York Times, the head of the Main Directorate of the Intelligence of Ukraine Kirill Budanov.
In the summer contract, Russia acquired 1700 drones, notes the head of the GUR. To convince Iran to put the “Shahda”, the Russian Federation proposed scientific know-how for Iranian military industry.
According to him, Russia receives drones and at the moment released about 540 kamikaze drones. She uses Shahed-136 for tactical strokes along the front and on energy infrastructure.
Most of the drones do not reach the goal, but they are cheap. According to Budanov, the production of Shakhed costs about $ 7,000 – however, it is not known exactly how much the Russian Federation paid Iran.
At the same time, Tehran is in no hurry to supply ballistic missiles, says Budanov.
“Iran is in no hurry to do this for obvious reasons, because as soon as Russia releases the first missiles, the sanctioned pressure on Iran will intensify,” explained the head of the Gur.
