The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk, during a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Defense of Germany Christina Lambrecht, asked Kyiv German submarines. The Ukrainian politician expressed his readiness to become the “defense border” of Europe in the East, hinting at the possibility of receiving submarines from Berlin, writes “country.ua”.
Stefanchuk also stated that the cooperation between the Ukrainian and the German side will become “mutually beneficial.”
“I do not exclude the receipt of submarines from Germany, because we are ready to become the defense eastern border of the whole of Europe. And this cooperation will be mutually beneficial both at this stage and in the future,” Stephanchuk said.
