Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal at a meeting with the German Chancellor Olaf Sholts, which took place on Sunday, September 3, offered the ways how Germany could organize the supply of Leopard 2 tanks, RBC-Ukraine reports.
In a statement to reporters, Shmygal specified that he could not disclose all the agreements and details of the conversation.
“But we discussed all these issues about tanks and other military systems for Ukraine absolutely constructively,” he said, adding that he is “very optimistic” for the prospect of obtaining tanks.
