The Ukrainian military will be able to throw the Russian army on the line on February 23 until the end of this year. However, for this you need to establish fast supply of weapons. This was in an interview with RBC-Ukraine by the former commander of the US troops in Europe, an expert of the Washington Center for Analysis of European Policy, retired general Ben Hodges.
“I believe that if the West/US continues to deliver everything promised, at a faster pace, then Ukrainian forces will be able to push the Russian troops to the line on February 23 until the end of this year. The situation is already changing significantly in favor of Ukraine,” the general said.
At the same time, he believes that active hostilities will continue in winter, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to free the south with the necessary weapons, in particular long -range weapons.
Hodges noted that it is also necessary to improve logistics networks within Ukraine and, possibly, attract commercial companies from the USA or Great Britain.
