Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov addressed Google, YouTube, Netflix, Facebook and Instagram’s management with a request to block access to the services of these companies, reports the correspondent.
As Fedorov explained, the purpose of the blocking is not to deprive Russians access to information, but to reach young people, proactive and thinking population.
Earlier, Fedorov had already appealed to Apple’s general director Tim Cube with a request to block Apple Store in Russia. Today, he said that Russia already observes problems with access to ApplePay.
