Russian gas transit through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) on Tuesday may decrease by 18%, to 56 million cubic meters after 68.4 million the day before, follows from the data of the GTS of Ukraine operator (OGTSU).

Applications for pumping gas through the Suzha and Save stations from Russia – they are formed on the basis of demand in Europe – on April 26 are 56 million cubic meters, which is almost half as much as the capacity of the GTS of Ukraine, which is Gazprom Books this year according to the transit contract – about 109.6 million cubic meters per day (40 billion cubic meters per year).
