Ukraine has accused Russian generals of war crimes

Security Service of Ukraine completed pre -trial investigations against two Russian generals. The agency accuses them of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine and of planning, preparing, unleashing and conducting war.

One of them is the commander of the Eastern Military District Colonel General Alexander Tchaiko. According to investigators, at the beginning of the war, he took a direct part in the planning, preparation and invasion to the north of Ukraine. Tchaiko is also accused of trying to capture Kyiv through the command of the Vostok troops group, The Insider reports.

Second accused-commander of the “2nd Army Corps of the People’s Militia of the LPR”, which was subordinate to the 12th command of the reserve of the Southern Military District, Major General Estulla Abachev.

According to the SBU, he led the actions of the Russian military east. It is indicated that his stay and participation in the hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, Kremlin, Rubezhnoye and other settlements of the Lugansk Region is documented.
