Ukraine became the 125th country of the Roman Statute of the International Criminal Court (MUS) and from January 1, 2025 he receives the same rights as other states.

“Ukraine officially becomes the 125th country of the International Criminal Court on January 1, 2025. This means that now it is a full-fledged state participating in this international treaty and has all the rights and obligations assigned to the participating states. The most important Of these, the right to vote when approving the budget, adoption of amendments, amendments to the Roman Statute, when choosing judges, the future prosecutor and his deputies, which to a certain extent helps to form the future of international criminal law, ”the representative of the Mus Fadi said in an interview with Ukrinform El-Abdalla.
