President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on a social network made a statement about the shelling of Krivoy Rog from the Russian Armed Forces.
Zelensky said that search and rescue operations were ongoing at the site of the Russian missile:
“According to the first data, 2 ballistic missiles got into the residential building. Part of the house from 4 to 9th floor was completely destroyed”.
According to the president, 5 people were killed, among them one child.
The mayor of Krivoy Rog, Alexander Vilkul, confirmed an increase in the number of victims as a result of the blow of the Russian Federation on a high -rise building.
“I came from the hits of hit only two minutes ago. We disassemble the rubble. Therefore, the latest information, unfortunately, is this: 73 people were injured, including three children. He noted that the analysis of the rubble continues.
“Unfortunately, for the information that we now have, there may still be people under the rubble. Rescuers do everything possible to save them,” said Vilkul.
