Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umarov said that Ukraine received the first F-16 fighters from the Netherlands.
The head of the defense department of Ukraine wrote on the social network Facebook.
According to him, he held productive negotiations with a delegation headed by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Ruben Bremelmans.
“I am sincerely grateful for the comprehensive assistance provided by the Netherlands to protect against Russian aggression. The F -16 aircraft in our sky is a certificate of unchanging support of the people and the government of the kingdom,” the minister wrote.
MEMROV added that the parties agreed to expand cooperation under the aviation coalition, including the preparation of crews and the supply of weapons and spare parts for aircraft.
The Ukrainian minister called on partners to invest even more in Ukrainian defense production.
