The Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko announced massive strikes on the country’s energy infrastructure.
“Energy under a massive blow of the enemy. Attacks on energy facilities take place throughout Ukraine,” he wrote on Facebook.
Galushchenko noted that the operator of the transmission system of the National Energy Company Ukrenergo urgently introduced emergency power outages.
According to him, the consequences of shelling will be clarified as soon as the security situation allows.
Meanwhile, the Air Forces of Ukraine reported that in many regions of Ukraine, including the capital of Kyiv, missiles were released.
In a statement at Telegram, air forces called on residents to stay in shelters.
