Deputy Secretary of the National Security Council and Defense Council, Sergey Demmedyuk, said that the kiberatak on the sites of Ukrainian ministries are hackers from the UNC1151 grouping, which is associated with the intelligence services of Belarus.
“This grouping is engaged in cybershpionage and is associated with the special services of the Republic of Belarus. The attacks that took place were covering for more destructive actions that occur out of public vision field,” Demmeduk said in an interview with Reuters.
Recall that the attack on the websites of Ukrainian ministries and departments occurred on January 14th. On the main pages of sites, a stub was placed in Russian, Polish and Ukrainian, in which it was reported that all the personal data of the one who came to this site are “uploaded to a common network”, and the data on the computer “is destroyed, it is impossible to restore them.”
