“Ukraine organized two ways of grain exports, through Romania and Poland, and is negotiating the third with the Baltic countries.” This was stated by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Senik.
He recalled that global food security is at risk, since the war in Ukraine stopped the export of grain by the Black Sea, which entailed a massive deficit and a sharp increase in prices.
Senik said that Ukraine is negotiating with the Baltic countries about the creation of the third corridor for food export.
“These routes are not perfect, because they create a certain” bottle throat. “At the same time, we do everything possible to develop these routes,” Ukrinform quotes him.
Recall that due to the blockade of Ukrainian seaports on the world market, 7 million tons of wheat, 14 million tons of corn grain, 3 million tons of sunflower oil and 3 million tons of sunflower burden did not hit the world market. This has already led to a record increase in prices in the world market.
