The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov can resign, but will remain in the team of President Vladimir Zelensky, writes Ukrainian Pravda with reference to sources in the presidential office, government and law enforcement agencies.
According to the publication, the head of intelligence Kirill Budanov may be appointed in his place. Reznikov can become the Minister of Justice. The current head of the department Denis Malyuska can send an ambassador to a European country, writes the newspaper.
According to the source in the power structures of Ukraine, “Cyril is very difficult to leave the GUR, he does not want to go to the Moscow Region, because he understands that this is a huge bureaucratic machine. But there is no longer any time to think.”
Reznikov definitely did not answer the publication to the question whether he will leave the Ministry of Defense.
