The head of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States, Oksana Markarova, published the details of the planned distribution of $ 40 billion emergency funding allocated from the US budget to support the Ukrainian people.
According to European Pravda, the ambassador noted that Washington did everything for the speedy allocation of money.
Markarova said that more than half of the funds, namely 23.75 billion dollars, will be sent to the safety of Ukraine. 9 billion will go to additional economic and technical assistance to Ukraine. 6.58 billion dollars will spend on humanitarian needs and the needs of global food security. In addition, financing of the actions of the US government is provided, for example, for the arrest and sale of confiscated property related to the Russian Federation.
