In the Ukrainian-Turkish plant, which is built in Vasilkov (Kiev region), will produce reactive drones of the Anka type – the next generation of UAV after Bayraktar, said the speaker of the Ukrainian delegation in the trilateral contact group on the settlement of the situation in the Donbasse Alexey Arrestovich in an interview Freedom. “
“The plant is built now in Vasilkov … which will produce Ukrainian-Turkish drones. Including Anka – heavy drones …”, – said Arrestovich.
He clarified that Anka is the next generation of UAV after Bayraktar. “Not piston, but reactive … UAV, exceeding Bayraktar in all characteristics,” he said.
Anka is a family of unmanned aircraft developed by Turkish company Turkish Aerospace Industries (Tai). Drones have means for air defense. In September, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Turkish manufacturer of BPLA Bayraktar Savunma signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, according to which several centers for the joint production of drones will be built in Ukraine. The first of them should start the production of products at the end of 2022. The company will produce heavy reactive drones of the ANKA type – the next generation of UAV after Bayraktar, as well as promising Ukrainian drones.
