In the Kushadasy area of the Turkish province of Aydin, a Ukrainian family lives from the war at home.
Valeria and Alexander Kuska VILS in Kharkov. Their three -year -old son Matvia, who suffered from anal atresia, underwent surgery in Ukraine. However, after the start of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the family had to move to continue the treatment of the son.
In April last year, the Kuska family was placed at the Kushadasy district. With the beginning of the tourist season, the Ukrainian family moved to the rental apartment, a doctor from the same district took up the treatment of her son.
The family has been making a living for a year and a half, spending online training and playing cello and piano in the district events.
In an interview with Anadolu, Alexander Kiska said that they survived the shock of war thanks to the support of the Turkish people.
“Our son was sick. At first, it was very difficult for us and without the support of the Turkish people our life could be horrified. Thanks to these emotional people, we spend a calm life here. My son needed to examine the doctor, as he was operated on in Ukraine. We accidentally found a doctor who helped us a lot. We are very grateful to him. We would probably have moved to another city, if this doctor was not, since the health of our son is very important, ”said Alexander.
According to him, the Turkish people provided them with support in everything.
“We did not buy anything. We gave us everything. They even gave clothes. Here I write to us, help my son. We felt like part of this social society,” he said.
Valeria Kiska said that she receives a remote education and sometimes performs on stage to earn a life and treatment of a child. Ukrainian dreams of returning to her country.
“I miss my work, for my students. Therefore, I want to return, but we are still scared. My student called, asked the lesson in the morning, as they were bombarded at night. We were informed that our house was subjected to strokes. case, we will not be able to return, ”she said.
