Ulan-Bator And Lisbon Discussed Prospects For Expanding Bilateral Relations

Foreign Minister of Mongolia Batmunhiin Batzeceg and Portugal Foreign Minister Paulu Rangele discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral relations, Montsame reports.

The meeting was held on the fields of general debates of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The ministers discussed the possibilities of expanding bilateral relations in areas representing mutual interest.

Batzesg emphasized the expansion of traditional friendly relations and cooperation between the Mongolia and the Portuguese of the Republic as a result of the efforts of both sides and congratulated on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which is celebrated this year.

The parties also exchanged views on active interaction within the United Nations and other international organizations, including on some issues of an international agenda.
