Ulan-Bator: Opening Ceremony Of Naadam National Festival Took Place

Naadam National Feast in Mongolia officially began with the opening ceremony at the central stadium of Ulan-Bator, Montsame reports.

This year, Naadam is dedicated to the 2233rd anniversary of the creation of the first statehood in Mongolia, the 818th anniversary of the formation of the Great Mongol Empire, the 113rd anniversary of the restoration of national freedom and independence, the 103rd anniversary of the People’s Revolution.

At the opening of a ceremony with a congratulatory speech, the President of Mongolia Ukhnagiin Khurelsukh spoke. “On this wonderful day of the national holiday, I am glad to inform the people that in the capital of the country the state flag was majestically raised, personifying historical traditions, aspirations, unity, justice and spirit of the Mongolian people. The national holiday of Naadam is the immunity of our spiritual existence,” the head of state said is the head of state .

This year, the democratic government has strengthened and for the first time in the history of the country, a parliament of 126 deputies was formed.

Huralsukh congratulated members of the parliament and government on behalf of the people who received the support of voters. “The only and unique Mongolian Naadam in the world begins with a magnificent demonstration of colors and splendor. Let the eagle dance of mighty fighters fill the earth, the earth will shudder from the swiftness of the frisky horses, the powerful arrows of the wise archers will miserate the blue in the sky,” the president of Mongolia said and wished the Mongolian people happy Naadama.

Especially for the opening and closing ceremony, a fully automatic scene was built in the central stadium, which united the national heritage and culture of Mongolia with innovative technologies.

About 1,200 people from professional cultural and art organizations, as well as private studios and deliveries, took part in the theatrical performance.

President of Mongolia, Chairman of the Great State Khurala Dashzegviin Amarbashalan and Prime Minister Luvsannamein Oyun-Erdne, after the ceremony of the Naadam national festival, visited the competition in the national game in Kostya and shooting from Luke.

The president, by ancient tradition, released an arrow from Luke and paid tribute to the national archers and guests of the holiday.

King of the Kingdom of Butan Dzhigma Khassar Namgyal Vangchuk and Queen Jetsun Pema Vangchuk, who are on a state visit to Mongolia, also visited the competition in the national game in bones and archery. Vangchuk released an arrow from Luke and congratulated the people of Mongolia on the national holiday of Naadam.
