UN: 3.7 Million Children In Sudan Are Threatened With Acute Malnutrition

about 3.7 million children under the age of 5 years in Sudan are under threat of acute malnutrition.

This is stated in a joint statement by the Office of the UN Supreme Commissioner for Refugees (UN UN) and the UN children’s fund (UNICEF).

The World Organization emphasized that the humanitarian crisis in Sudan is aggravated by the continuing clashes between the government army and the rapid response forces (SBR).

The United Nations called on the international community in order to assist the victims as a result of an armed conflict in Sudan.
