The International UN Migration Organization (MOM) said that after the fall of the Bashar Assad regime in Syria last week, 250,000 people returned to their homes, 100,000 of them are Syrians living outside the country.
MOM made a written statement about events in Syria.
The statement notes that since the beginning of the Civil War in 2011, large destruction and massive movements of the population have occurred in Syria, more than 6 million Syrians left the country, and 5.5 million people became internally moved people.
