The UN monitoring mission has been documented by almost 15 thousand victims among civilians in the Russian War against Ukraine, the head of the Human Rights Mission in Ukraine Matilda Bogner said at a press briefing.
According to Bogner, from February 24 to the present, 5996 people were documented, 8848 were injured. Among the dead 382 children. She noted that these are confirmed cases, but the actual figures are much more.
During the reporting period, 407 cases of violent disappearance and arbitrary detentions were recorded, of which 18 people were subsequently found dead.
She also said that during the reporting period 9 cases of rape were recorded – 8 women and one child and 15 cases of sexual violence against men.
