The UN announced 14,059 victims among the civilian population as a result of hostilities in Ukraine.
According to the head of the UN Monitoring Mission to Human Rights in Ukraine, Matilda Bogner, 5767 civilians were killed, 8292 were injured.
“The actual figures are probably much more. At least 416 people became victims of arbitrary detentions and violent disappearances in the territories controlled by the Russian troops. Of these, 16 people were found dead, 166 were liberated,” she said.
