The problem of grain from Ukraine is close to permission, said Oleg Kobyakov, director of the Moscow branch of the food and agricultural organization in an interview with RBC. According to him, Ukrainian grain is already actively exported by land.
Kobyakov assured that the negotiations of Moscow and Kyiv on this topic “are close to completion.” He noted that “there is an acute problem of the export of Ukrainian grain from the ports”, where there are about 5 million tons of grain. He specified that this grain “already, in fact, was bought, the consumer awaits him.” According to him, against the backdrop of the lack of sea exports, the grain “is quite actively exported through land channels.”
Kobyakov also claims that the negotiations of Russia and Ukraine to unlock ports and restoration of exports are moving, and “the problem is in the final stage of the solution.” Negotiations are held with the participation of the UN. “Now the world media are silent on this topic, and this is evidence that negotiations are successful and close to completion. Their successful final is the issue of politics and political will,” he believes.
