UN Secretary-General Antoniou Guterrish expressed concern about reports that Pyongyang returned to the creation of nuclear weapons, and called on to refuse such activities. This is stated in a statement, a common office of the administrative chapter of the international community.
“The Secretary General is familiar with this report and is concerned about such developments. He encourages the DPRK to refrain from any actions related to nuclear weapons, and return to negotiations with other stakeholders,” – quotes the TASS document published in connection with the International Report Atomic Energy Agencies on the resumption of Pyongyan operation of a plutonium production reactor on a nuclear complex in Jonbene.
On Sunday, The Wall Street Journal newspaper, with reference to the IAEA data, reported that there is reason to say that the DPRK resumed the work of the Plutonium production reactor in Jonbene (the object did not function from December 2018 to July 2021).
