UN Secretary General thanked Turkey for supporting efforts in Ukraine

The Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Antoniu Guterrish is grateful to Turkey for supporting his efforts in Ukraine. This was announced today by the representative of the Secretary General Stefan Duzharrick.

“We saw messages from Turkey, information about telephone conversations. The Secretary General is extremely grateful to Turkey for support in connection with the situation on the Black Sea, as well as for supporting his efforts in this direction,” TASS quoted him.

Dujarrick drew attention to the fact that on the issues of unlocking exports on the Black Sea, a lot of information comes. “But the Secretary General takes a consistent position in communication: we report on trips and the agreements reached when they have already taken place,” the representative of the World Organization explained.

It was previously reported that on May 31, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held telephone conversations with the presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, during which he discussed, in particular, issues of shipping on the Black Sea.
