Members of the UN Security Council (SB UN) expressed concern to the escalation of violence in the capital of Sudanese province of North Darfur El Fashire.
Members of the UN Security Council recalled that on January 24, more than 70 patients and their relatives died on an attack on the Saudi training hospital. The UN Security Council “Decisively” condemns this attack, – emphasized in the message.
Members of the UN Security Council demanded that the emergency response (SBR) “stop the siege” of El-fascira according to resolution 2736 adopted by the UN Security Council, as well as immediately put an end to hostilities in the city and its environs.
In addition, the parties to the UN Security Council called on the parties to the conflict to ensure the protection of the civilian population and civil infrastructure in accordance with international humanitarian law and the right in the field of human rights, and also expressed concern about the position of civilians who experience the humanitarian crisis in the El Fashir refugee camps and Zamzam.
SB of the UN also called on the parties to immediately terminate the fighting and find a stable solution by dialogue, and the member state to refrain from external intervention and support efforts to achieve a strong world.
