A closed meeting on the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia was held at the UN Security Council.
Russian media, citing a permanent representative of the Russian Federation at the UN Vasily, Nebenzya writes that Moscow at the meeting notified its own efforts and the work of the organization of the collective security agreement to terminate the conflict.
According to the Russian diplomat, “we talked about the efforts made by Russia both in individual quality and along the CSTO line, to normalize the situation, upon achieving a truce, about the efforts that the CSTO will undertake after the meeting of the Collective Security Council”
Nebenzya pointed out that the participants in the UN Council Closed Consultations unanimously spoke out of the speedy ceasefire between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the settlement of the situation by political and diolromatic agents.

We insist that there are certainly a reference to tripartite statements by the presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and in these press elements. Armenia from 2020 and 2021, which are the basis for normalizing the relations of the two countries, contain calls and obligations to terminate fire, as well as a number of projects that the parties must undertake under these agreements, this process is already underway to normalize relations. “
Nebenzya noted that the Russian Federation insists on the inclusion of the UN SB in Armenia and Azerbaijan references to trilateral statements by the presidents.
