Deputy Secretary General of the UN for humanitarian issues, Martin Griffiths said that 5 million tons of grain are counting on the removal of 5 million tons of grain from Ukrainian ports.
“We would like to return to the pre -war indicators of exports from these ports. It is about 5 million tons about 5 million tons monthly,” Griffith said. “We would like to achieve this goal as soon as possible,” he added.
According to Griffiths, the UN does not expect that for the agreements in Istanbul on July 22, new agreements on Ukraine will follow the export of grain and fertilizers.
“They ask a lot whether further agreements will follow this. Of course, we hope, but we definitely do not assume this,” he said.
