The attacks of the Russian army take on an increasingly intense character in several directions, including Avdeevka. About this in an interview with an anadol correspondent was told by the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the code call sign of Andre.
He serves the rank of major in the 59th mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, deployed in the Donetsk region.
Active hostilities continues in the direction of Bakhmut, Maryinki, Ugro and Avdeevka of the Donetsk region.
The hottest line of Avdeevka’s front is considered the hottest point, where the Russian army began to strengthen the offensive in the fall.
According to Andre, the clash continues in many areas of the Kharkov, Kherson, Lugansk and Zaporizhzhya regions of Ukraine.
He noted that the Russian army suffered heavy losses during the attack on Avdeevka.
The military added that attempts to the offensive of the RF Armed Forces in many directions were unsuccessful. “They (the Russian army) cannot advance in any direction, nor in Bakhmut, or in Zaporozhye,” he said.
Andre says that it is easier for Ukrainian soldiers to serve in the Avdeevsky direction to repel the attacks of the Russian army, since they control important positions.
“Our defense line in Avdeevka was prepared after 2014. Therefore, when a full-scale war began, they (the Russian army) could not advance in this direction for a meter,” he explained.
According to him, in connection with the situation on the Avdeevsky front from the Ukrainian side there are no panic sentiments. “There is no panic. We have strategic and tactical goals. Our government and the army leaders continue to work in agreement,” he stressed.
