Assessment in Azerbaijan and Armenia will be held in the situation of full cooperation, the UNESCO statement says.
“We work with all parties to create conditions for the independent UNESCO Technical Mission under the 1954 Convention. UNESCO welcomes all useful ideas and initiatives, both from regional organizations and individual countries. From this point of view, ideas can be considered. On February 4, at a meeting in video conferencing format with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Armenian Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan, President of France Emmanuel Macgron and Chairman of the Council of the European Union Charles Michel was achieved agreement on the visit of UNESCO’s appraisal mission to Azerbaijan and Armenia.
