The Armenian authorities suspended the mandate of the representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Marine Clark-Hatting, considering that the methods of her work are problematic for the country. According to TASS, the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic Anna Naghdalyan said this on Tuesday.
“General shortcomings in the methodology of the work of the UNICEF Representative in Armenia Marine Clark-Hatting, which in no way contribute to the establishment of cooperation, were very problematic for the Armenian side, therefore the Armenian government decided to suspend Clark-Hatting’s activities as UNICEF Representative in Armenia. Permanent the UN coordinator and UNICEF representatives were informed of the decision, “she said.
