Great Britain began evacuation from Kiev about half of the staff of the embassy, reports BBC with reference to interlocutors from among officials.
According to information, the corresponding decision is made against the background of warnings about the possible “invidence of Russia.”
As noted in the British foreign policy department, there were no specific threats to diplomats, however, it was decided that about half of the staff working in Kiev returned to the UK. At the same time, the diplomatic confinement in Kiev will continue its work.
On the eve, the US State Department prescribed the families of the American embassy staff in Kiev to leave the country, and also allowed this part of the staff of the diplomatic representation.
