United States allocated Moldova more than 130 million dollars

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on Wednesday arrived on a visit to Moldova.

He in Chisinau held negotiations with the President of Moldova Maya Sandu.

After the meeting, a press conference was held in which Blinken announced the allocation of Moldova $ 50 million to support judicial reforms and $ 85 million to solve problems in the energy region so that the republic overcame energy dependence from Russia.

According to him, Washington intends to help increase the exports of Moldovan goods in the United States and the European Union, and not to Russia, which is supplied to about 20% of all Moldovan products and reorients of Moldovan youth to work and study in Europe.

Blinken noted that the United States will help Moldova to hold free and honest elections and continue to move towards the EU and Western integration, as well as create more economic opportunities.

Maya Sandu in response thanked the US Secretary of State for the support of Moldova and separately for the support of warring Ukraine.

She noted that Ukraine is fighting not only for itself, but also for the freedom and safety of all European countries.

The US Secretary of State will go to Prague from Chisinau, where an informal conference of foreign ministers of NATO countries will be held at May 30-31.
