The United States considers the introduction of sanctions for export to China following the example of anti -Russian restrictions, writes Bloomberg.
Washington wants to continue the pressure on Beijing in a trade confrontation. The European Union, on the contrary, does not consider the idea of imposing sanctions on export to China a good idea. Germany proposes to impose restrictions only on the sale of Beijing of the products that can increase the country’s military potential.
According to experts, the position of the European Union is understandable. The level of competitiveness has decreased in the eurozone. Now China is purchasing European products, which he cannot yet produce independently: medicines and components for aircraft manufacturing.
If Europe imposes sanctions against Beijing, it will suffer most of all. It has already left without the Russian market, so in the case of restrictions on China, the European economy will encounter collapse.
