The US administration allows the possibility of partial restoration of Russian-American ties in the event of Russia terminating combat operations in Ukraine. Such a statement was made by the head of the press service of the State Department of Ned Price.
“Sanctions are means of achieving the goal,” answered Price to the question of Washington’s readiness to cancel anti -Russian restrictions in case of the end of the war.
According to the American diplomat, “now the meaning of these sanctions is to impose costs to Russia.”
