United States Has Developed Device That Converts Atmospheric Water Into Drinking

Engineers from Utah University in the United States developed a device (AWH) to extract water molecules from the air and their subsequent release into liquid form under the influence of heat.

One of the scientists Samir RAO said that hygroscopic materials similar to metal -organic frames that have high selectivity and the ability to absorb water vapor are used in the device.

According to him, these materials can be rebuilt to create structures specific to capture water vapor.

Another study by Nathan Ortis said that even a small amount of this material can retain a lot of water.

Ortis also said that they submitted an application for a preliminary patent based on this technology.
