The United States will increase economic pressure on Iran in connection with the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles used by Russia during the war in Ukraine. This was announced at a briefing for journalists of the White House press gun by the US presidential assistant Jake Sullivan.
“We ourselves have introduced a number of different sanctions against organizations in Russia and Iran, trying to complicate the conduct of such transactions. How they actually implement them, turns physical interception into a call. However, we will not stop before using various means aimed at disrupting the ongoing military cooperation of this type, to increase costs for Iran in terms of public opinion, as well as economic pressure for the decision to go along this path in which his weapons are used to kill civilians in Ukraine, ”he said.
According to Sullivan, Iran can potentially be an accomplice in war crimes in Ukraine.
