The United States in the coming days will announce a new package of sanctions against Russia due to “referenda” on the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russian troops.
This was announced by the assistant to the US President in National Security Jake Sullivan, CBS reports.
“The United States announces sanctions on legal entities and companies outside Russia that support referendums. You will see this in the coming days, the United States will make further announcements. This will only double our efforts to provide Ukraine with weapons and military equipment,” Sullivan noted.
