The United States is ready to impose secondary sanctions against Turkish companies that collaborate with Russian restrictions, said James O’Brien State Department’s sanctions policy.
“As always in the case of Turkey, we have very open and frank exchange of views. And we make it clear that when our interests require us to ensure our sanctions, we will do this. And we will impose sanctions in attitude of Turkish firms violating the American regime, when necessary, ”said James O’Brien.
The representative of the State Department noted that the United States will continue “consultations with Turkey and, perhaps, Ankara will have to change some of its plans for further interaction with Russia.”
