United States Will Be Sent To Border With Mexico Another 1,500 Troops

The United States is preparing to send about 1,500 soldiers to prevent the penetration of illegal migrants across the Mexican border.

The official in Washington, who wished to remain unnamed, confirmed the reports that the brigade of the material and technical support of the 18th airborne corps based in North Carolina received an order to go to the southern border of the country.

According to the official, President Trump will send about 1,500 troops to the southern border “to support his increased pressure on the prevention of migration”.

It is expected that the new troops that are planned to be deployed on the border will help establish wire fences between the United States and Mexico, and also provide the necessary transport, intelligence and other support to the border patrol.

Since Trump entered the post, the Pentagon has already posted on the border a military unit of 1,600 people. It is also known that it was decided to send about 500 marines to the Guantanamo base in Cuba, which will contain part of the detained illegal migrants.

After the completion of the deployment of additional units, the number of the American contingent authorized to ensure the security of the borders, will be approximately 3,600 people.
