The US administration has the possibilities to strengthen economic pressure on Russia and impose new sanctions and will consider them further, regardless of costs for Washington and its allies. This, according to TASS, said the deputy assistant to the US Secretary of State for Economics and Business Eric Woodhouse.
Woodhaus refused to comment on future sanctions, but emphasized that the United States intends to further determine and evaluate the possibilities for new anti -Russian restrictions, while the special operation in Ukraine continues. In his opinion, Washington has enough opportunities to strengthen pressure on Moscow.
In addition, the State Department emphasized that the West will continue to exert pressure on Russia, despite the costs for the United States themselves, as well as for its allies and partners.
