United States Will Impose Duties On Import Of Solar Panels From Number Of Southeast Asian Countries

The US Department of Trade finally determined the level of duties on the products of solar energy from the four countries of Southeast Asia.

The American department reported the final decisions on anti -dumping and additional customs duties in relation to photoelectric elements imported from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

It was established that the solar elements imported from these countries are entered the US market at dumping prices. In this context, anti -dumping duties were included, determined specifically for each country, it follows from the message. The department drew attention to the fact that companies in Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam received subsidies from the Chinese government.

The US International Trade Commission (ITC) should determine the final damage suffered by the country until June 2, and if the ITC determines the damage to solar energy products imported from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, then anti -dumping duties and additional taxes at the indicated rates will be levied, – the one said in message.
